Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop

ESPC House Price Report Feb 2018

Edinburgh is a city full of secrets and hidden gems. One of which we have recently discovered is the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop.

Nestled away in Newhaven, the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop is a “a centre for production, research and learning”. Founded in 1986 and relocated to the purpose built Bill Scott Sculpture Centre in 2012, the Edinburgh Sculpture Workshop “provides a supportive environment for emerging and established artists, providing studios, fully-equipped workshops and professional development”. They also work closely with the local Primary Schools providing Schools Programme for the children of the local community to try their own hands at sculpting.

This month the Edinburgh Sculpture Centre also launched their Autumn17/Spring18 Sculpture Courses Programme. With courses in Clay Portraiture, Metalwork and Stone & Wood Craving, as well as Children’s courses too, there’s something to suit everyone.

Why not start your journey to more creative 2018 with one of Edinburgh’s hidden gems?
